Position Description:

JCC anticipates potential part-time openings for Computer Science and Information Technology adjuncts for upcoming semesters (spring, summer, fall) on the Jamestown campus and online. Class times and course coverage needs will vary from semester to semester.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a computer-related discipline (computer science, computer technology, information technology) or business, with coursework beyond the introductory level in microcomputer applications, programming, webpage development, computer networks, and/or hardware and system software. Generic applications that do not reference Jamestown Community College specifically will not be considered.

Preferred: Master’s degree in a computer-related discipline, experience in teaching, experience working in a computer-related field

Additional Information:

Adjunct salary range of $917 - $1,246 per credit hour, with assigned placement commensurate with education and experience.

Final candidates are subject to a pre-employment criminal background investigation.
